Children, Young People and Families Manager Level 5

ROLE PROFILE

As a Children, Young People and Family Manager you will ensure direction, alignment and commitment within your own practice, your team(s), your organisation and across partnerships to help children, young people and families aspire to do their best and achieve sustainable change. You will build teams, manage resources and lead new approaches to working practices that deliver improved outcomes and put the child, young person or family at the centre of practice.

Children, Young People and Families Managers may work in range of settings in local authorities, within health organisations, educational and early years settings or children’s centres, as well as a wide range of private voluntary and community organisations.

About the Course

This Apprenticeship is specifically designed for management and leadership roles within children, young people and families’ settings. On completion of your apprenticeship, you should have the confidence, understanding and real-life experience necessary for making long-lasting changes to the lives of the most vulnerable in society. In doing so, you will build up the kind of qualities employers look for – no matter what you decide to do next.

Entry Requirement

You will require Level 2 qualifications in maths and English .
You are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide the result prior to starting.

Qualifications

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
