Digital Marketing Level 3

Summary

A digital marketer’s role is defining, designing, building and implementing digital campaigns across various online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work on marketing briefs and instructions. They will generally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager or an IT Manager.

About the Course

Digital Marketer Level 3 course provides learners with digital marketing knowledge and enables you to develop an authoritative online voice for your company.

Throughout the course duration, you will gain skills in:

  • Creating online content such as blogs, guides, and pages
  • Writing updates and posts on social media
  • Developing coding skills to improve website design
  • Developing strategies to increase visitors to a website.

Apprentices will have their Knowledge and Technical Understanding formally assessed at relevant times during their apprenticeship.  Apprentices must achieve one vendor or professional qualification that exempts the corresponding knowledge module.

The Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship consists of three knowledge modules, alongside the Vendor or Professional qualification that exempts them:

Knowledge Module 1, Principles of Coding:

  • MTA HTML 5 Application Development Fundamentals (98-375)
  • CIW – Site Development Associate

Knowledge Module 2, Marketing Principles:

  • Google Squared
  • CIM Level 3 Award in Digital Fundamentals
  • Dot Native
  • CIW – Internet Business Associate

Knowledge Module 3, Digital Marketing Business Principles:

  • Google Analytics IQ
  • CIM Level 3 Award in Digital Fundamentals
  • CIW – Data Analytics
  • CIW – Social Media Strategist
  • Dot Native
  • Google Squared

Individual employers will select which vendor or professional qualification the apprentice should take.

Career Progression

This apprenticeship is recognised for entry onto the Register of IT Technicians and those completing their apprenticeships are eligible to apply for registration. Completion of this apprenticeship can lead to promotion within your role or your organisation or a higher level programme of study.
